Sunset in Huglfing

A painting of my hometown Huglfing in Bavaria. My family and I were walking home from the upper cemetery in St. Johann when I came upon this view. That night in late Autumn 2021 the light was particularly beautiful and I walked everywhere looking for potential paintings. Here we are. On the left you see our grocery store “Gretschmann” where all the locals go. Where my parents, grandparents and great grandparents had shopped. Further into the scene you have the bank on the left and the road leading to our church in town, St. Magnus.
